Just before the craziness of the holiday season comes in full force, Chard and I decided to take the family on a short holiday to the beautiful island of Coron in Palawan. Because our schedules can get so hectic, travelling is our way of having much-needed bonding time with the kids!

This trip was Kai’s first time at the beach with the rest of the family! His first trip ever was our Europe adventure back in July. Kai had so much fun swimming for the first time at the beach! As you can see, he’s a very sweet baby, always smiling and wiggly. He kept playing with his hands and splashing water non stop! I’m glad that he seems to have a love for the water just like the rest of the family.

During our vacation, we swam every single day with Kai, Zion and Chard. Club Paradise never fails to amaze us. In fact, this is our second time visiting. Like Kai, Zion’s first time at the beach was also in Club Paradise years ago.

The service at Club Paradise was impeccable. Everyone was so nice. Not just to us obviously, but to all other guests as well. The food served was always fresh and delicious!

We got to snorkel with Zion on our first day and saw 3-4 turtles just in front of the resort. This place is really great for kids because they have a mini American Ninja Warrior course, and even a kid’s tree house. Activities are scheduled daily to keep them from getting bored.

We had delicious breakfasts at Club Paradise before going on our activities for the day. You can lounge and chill or be adventurous and kayak, scuba dive, go island hopping and look for the dugong. Island hopping was fun too. We didn’t dive during this trip, but I remember our dives last time were great. We got to see the Japanese world war shipwreck and it was so cool.

The staff made our stay comfortable, memorable and enjoyable. They even set up a nice dinner table by the ocean on our last day with lights and candles. It was a great end to a restful few days in paradise.

I’m very thankful to Club Paradise for our amazing stay. It was the perfect setting for some pre-Christmas R&R with just us. If you are looking for a place to stay in Coron, you might want to consider booking a room here; I’m pretty sure we’ll be back soon!
